Free Bluegrass Concert Tickets |

As a very special 'thank you' to everyone in the UK who has supported our efforts to promote bluegrass music here in Pembrokeshire, we are delighted to announce that we are making available a number of FREE places at our concert on Friday (May 9th) with The Toy Hearts, Slap That Thing, Ramapo Mountain and other UK bands, plus our Saturday evening faculty concert (May 10th) featuring top American bluegrass musicians, Kenny and Amanda Smith, Ross Nickerson, Emory Lester and Mike Bubb! Some of our classes are almost fully booked now, but others still have space. If you haven't registered yet, we suggest that you call first to confirm which classes are available. You can reserve your space by phone. And for those of you who want to come to the school, but had been holding off registering because of the cost - we can offer you a discount in some of our under-enrolled classes. This not only helps those who want to attend the school - it also helps to make sure we have a good balance of instruments and singers for jam sessions! :) If you'd like to know which classes still have spaces, and those that are available for discounts, please call us at 01239 881334. |

Have a "Bluegrass Weekend" |

 We've really been listening to what people want and need in a bluegrass school, and one thing that many have been asking us for is a weekend alternative - unfortunately, some people just couldn't get off work. We really wanted to allow these people to come to the school.... so we've organised a "Bluegrass Weekend" option!
This will allow you to go to a special workshop that we've added on Saturday afternoon and to attend workshops with our tutors Sunday morning and afternoon (five hours of tuition). The Friday and Saturday night concerts are also included. And, of course, there's all the jamming. So, even if you couldn't get away during the week - you can still join us and have a great bluegrass weekend! :) For those on a budget, we have the most beautiful campsite right on Newport Bay and The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. It has  great facilities for campers and a lovely little café. Two of our classes will be held at the Newport Boat Club, right next it. There’ll be picking at the campsite at night until 10:30, but anyone still wanting to play can just walk down to the beach and pick and sing as long as they like… It’s a beautiful spot.
